Money and token features are not live. This page describes a plan: nothing here can be bought, held or earned yet.
Tokenomics
Design document for the planned CUHS 3-contract system. Nothing here is a live token, investment offer, or claim of return.

Token Distribution
Three planned contracts, each with a clear purpose — stability, investment, and governance.
cUHSD Stablecoin
ERC-20 — Planned digital dollar. Not live. (33.3%)
Community Investment Vaults
ERC-1155 — 77 vault ids in the design. Not live. (33.3%)
CUHS Reserve Token
ERC-20 — 77M is a design supply. Not live. (33.3%)
How Value Flows
A design for how three contracts would relate, for each of the 77 community areas. No contract is deployed, and this is not a return.
Design sketch for one of Chicago's 77 community areas. The scale shows a one-dollar target. No peg is live, and no spending cycles through a vault.
3-Contract Architecture
Design: one reserve token backs a multi-collateral stablecoin, while 77 investment vaults track real neighborhood health data.
Three main contracts handle tokens and value. Four supporting contracts provide data feeds, governance, treasury management, and on-chain record-keeping.
Three Contracts in Detail
cUHSD Stablecoin
Symbol: cUHSD
Standard: ERC-20
Role: Everyday transactions
- Designed as Chicago's digital dollar — the planned medium of exchange inside the CUHS ecosystem
- A 1:1 USD peg is being designed, with multi-collateral backing as a plan. No peg is live, and no dollar value is promised.
- Intended for marketplace transactions within all 77 community areas
- Planned to be earned through participation — attending events, volunteering, shopping local
Community Investment Vaults
Symbol: CUHS-VAULT
Standard: ERC-1155
Role: Shared equity (planned)
- 77 unique token IDs — one vault per community area (e.g., Vault #32 = Loop)
- Value scored by an oracle aggregating 7 real-world data feeds (property, crime, employment, and more)
- Designed to represent shared equity in each area's community health data
- How vault prices would be set is being designed around neighborhood health data. No price change or return is promised.
CUHS Reserve Token
Symbol: CUHS
Standard: ERC-20
Role: Governance + gas
- 77 million fixed supply — the governance and utility backbone of the ecosystem
- Intended for DAO voting, proposal staking, and transaction fee payment
- Marketplace fee handling is being designed. No distribution or return to holders is offered.
- Staking is being designed for governance participation. It would not pay a yield or a return.
Oracle Data Feeds
Planned: investment vault values scored by an oracle aggregating real-world data sources — measurable community health, not speculation.
In the design, these weights would be adjustable by a DAO proposal. No DAO is live. The city, county, and federal datasets named here are public. The weights themselves are not a live control.
Stability Mechanisms
A design for four layers that would aim at a peg. No peg is live, and no dollar value is promised.
Multi-Collateral Vault
The design would back cUHSD with USDC, DAI, and later real-world assets, at a minimum 150% collateral ratio. That vault is not live, and no dollar value is promised.
Algorithmic Rebalancing
If the peg were to drift beyond a narrow band, the design would mint or burn cUHSD to pull it back. No interest or yield is part of that plan.
Emergency Circuit Breakers
The design would pause minting and put redemptions first if collateral fell below a threshold, and would alert a DAO. None of that is live.
Community Governance Override
The design would let reserve-token holders vote on emergency measures. Voting is not live.
Whale Protection
Five interlocking layers ensure no single actor can dominate the ecosystem — economic power is distributed by design.
Identity & Sybil Protection
The design would use identity and residency checks so one person could not run several wallets. Those checks are not live.
Bicameral Governance
Two-chamber voting is planned: token-weighted for economic decisions, one-person-one-vote for community policies. Voting is not live.
Economic Deterrents
The design would use fees, wallet caps, and cooldowns against large-scale manipulation. None of that is live.
Commitment Alignment
Governance voting is planned to use time-locked staking. A longer lock would be designed to carry more voting weight, favoring long-term commitment over quick flips.
Enforcement & Transparency
The design would make large transactions public and let a committee flag them for DAO review. No committee and no DAO are live.
Achievement Levels
Achievement tiers are being designed around participation. The chart is a sketch, not a live reward or a return.
These figures are a sketch of tiers still being designed. They are not a live discount, token reward, or return.
